I'm not sure there's anything particularly new in what he's saying, but I agree with him. If there's a way that we can encourage students to think beyond the "right answer" -- and especially not to fear coming up with at least partially wrong answers along the way -- then I'm all for it.
Also -- does being surprised that this event took place in Williamsport make me a horrible urban elitist?
But, do they actually want to think or do they just want a credential?
