"College Faculty's New Focus: Don't Offend" (Wall Street Journal)
As I keep saying, much of the evil bedeviling academia today would be quite impossible without the full complicity and, disturbingly often, enthusiastic participation of the students. If you want to fix this fucked-up world, you won't do it by looking away, and pretending it's not fucked up.
Excellent balance and historical perspective, with the focus on precarious faculty, as it should be. The detail on Dr. Tomasulo's departure seems especially telling.
