The Environment Within Which Our Students Attempt to Learn and Our Faculty Attempt to Teach
I'm sick. I feel so helpless. It's 0.0001% what POC feel - I've been trying for a big whopping 1 week to confront instead of block/unfriend etc. And I'm already tired. How can this be my country? I feel like something happened, but it's so wide spread now I guess it was just all a lie. The 4 decades of my life before this, I was just a fool. Nothing turned people racist - they just stopped hiding it. And now they're acting on it EVEN WHEN THEY'RE BEING WATCHED. How do my students survive this? How do my students live in this world? How did I not realize it was what it is? I am a fool and I'm not doing a damn bit of good.
