Zooze the Horse roams around the pasture near Lamar State College. Zooze thinks about problems in academia. Zhe wants proffies to submit posts (blog posts, not fence posts).
Yeah, I sat through about four minutes. Presumably the kid's own friends enjoyed it.
It did, however, bring me the pleasure of remembering my own first few days in college, which were happy, fun, eye-opening, and exciting. I couldn't wait to get started, and I'd do it all again if I could.
Well, I tried. I skipped the middle and watched the ending. Random thoughts: It's his first day back, not his first day at school. He has mastered the art of the clickbait-y title. He has too much time on his hands; and yet clearly has some skills to make something quite polished. In some fields, he'd be destroying his chances of future work; and yet in others he is probably boosting his chances. I'd be pissed if my kid were doing this; and yet I would not have had (and do not have) the patience required. 200,000 subscribers?! For this? Why? And yet nothing I publish will ever likely be looked at by a fraction of this number.
